We are a group of students currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Computing and Robotics. As part of our academic curriculum, we are engaged in developing practical solutions that integrate both automation technologies and intelligent systems within real-world industrial environments.
In one of our major projects this academic year, we have been assigned the task of designing and implementing an automation system tailored to a specific manufacturing process. This initiative aims to address two main challenges commonly faced by companies: firstly, to reduce or eliminate tasks that are excessively strenuous or hazardous for human workers; and secondly, to significantly enhance the overall efficiency and productivity of industrial operations.
Our goal is to apply the theoretical knowledge and technical skills we have acquired—ranging from robotics and control systems to programming and system integration—to propose an effective, innovative automation solution that meets the operational needs of a real company. Through this project, we hope to not only deepen our understanding of industrial automation but also contribute meaningfully to improving workplace safety and performance in manufacturing environments.
